ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHY · ARTIST RIGHTS
Usage & licensing.
A clear guide to ownership, personal display, and authorized use of photographs created by William Everett / Second Light Studio.
Ownership & copyright
All original photographs displayed on this website are the work and property of William M. Everett III (William Everett) / Second Light Studio. Copyright and associated ownership rights remain with the photographer unless expressly transferred in a separate written agreement.
Fine-art prints & personal display
Obtaining a physical fine-art print permits display of that particular physical print. It does not transfer copyright, ownership of the underlying image, reproduction rights, commercial rights, or permission to create additional copies.
Commissioned photography
Usage permissions for commissioned sessions, commercial projects, editorial assignments, and event coverage are defined by the applicable written agreement. Delivering a photograph does not, by itself, grant unlimited rights or transfer ownership.
Commercial & editorial licensing
Use in advertising, promotional materials, websites, publications, brand campaigns, merchandise, or other commercial and editorial contexts requires prior written permission and an appropriate license. Terms depend on the intended use, distribution, duration, and scope.
Unauthorized reproduction
Photographs may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, reposted for commercial purposes, or otherwise used beyond the permissions granted in writing.
